Happy Valentine's Day!

Another Valentine's Day *sigh* I never understood why people needed a day to express their love to someone else - shouldn't that be every day? And yes, I've always felt like this... I'm not just saying that because I'm single! Seriously though, never overlook an opportunity to tell someone how you feel about them, because you never know - you may not get another chance.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but a lot of Valentine-appropriate giveaways are ending today. Jewelry, chocolates, cheesecake, electronics and more are all up for grabs. Here's a sampling of the ones I've entered.

Blessinga Abound Mommy is giving away a coupon for a free Delizza Desserts! If you've never tried these before you're missing out! I love that they're small, and frozen - so I can just take out a couple when I want to treat myself but I'm not tempted by the entire container. It makes my diet bearable :)

She reviewed an awesome Proform Stride Select Folding Elliptical Trainer that may not seem very romantic, but if you and/or your loved one are working towards getting fit this year, it would be a lovely gift! Optimistic Beauty is giving away a $100 gift certificate to CSN Stores. Everytime I go to that site, I find something else I love - like this blender, this gorgeous goose down duvet, this awesome gear art piece with clock for my living room, or this kitchen island with a pull-out table extension. *sigh* isn't it lovely? Forget diamonds, flowers, chocolate - I'll take furniture any day! It would be perfect for my kitchen.

Our Ordinary Life has 2 giveaways ending tonight- the first for a Flip UltraHD (Valentine's Day edition - winner's choice from over 60 different designs). Who knew there were soooo many ways to show your love? LOL

The second Our Ordinary Life giveaway ending tonight is for an Orb TV, which allows you to stream internet content (like Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc.) to your TVs. This would be great since most of the TVs in my house aren't internet ready, so instead of watching Hulu on my desktop in the office, I can watch it from the comfort of my bedroom!

The Bragging Mommy is giving away a goegeous Pearlotica Love Pendant with AAA Freshwater Round Pearl necklace. Since the pearl is my birthstone, I can look at this as an early birthday present :)

My Valentine's Day plans consist of some shrimp fried rice *YUM* and turtle cheesecake *DOUBLE YUM* and a movie... not sure which one though. Maybe Serendipity. Something light-hearted and fun.
